25 February Reset Journal Prompts
A mindful reset for your goals, body, and daily rhythms
February feels like a quiet checkpoint in the year to reflect and reset.
We are still close enough to January to reflect on our intentions, but far enough in to notice what is actually sticking. Between new routines, winter energy, and everyday responsibilities, this month has had me thinking deeply about balance – where I am growing, where I need more support, and how I want to show up for the rest of 2026.
These are the journal prompts I have been using to reconnect with my goals, check in with my body, and gently realign my lifestyle in a way that feels supportive and not overwhelming.
Take your time with these. You don’t have to answer them all at once – choose a few each week or come back to them whenever you need a reset.
Reflecting on Goals & Direction
- Look at your vision board, 2026 bingo card, or notes app where you’ve written your goals.
- What have you already accomplished? How did it make you feel?
- Take a moment to celebrate that win. You did it!
- What is the next thing you would like to cross off, and what steps will help you get there?
- What is something you loved doing as a child that you no longer make time for? Would you like to bring it back into your life? How?
- Is there something you want to get really good at this year? Realistically, how much time can you dedicate to it daily, weekly, or monthly?
- Where am I intentionally placing my energy right now? Where would I like to place it moving forward?
- What affirmation or calling am I inviting into my life? If this becomes reality, how will I feel and why do I desire it?
- Is there something I am afraid to fail at? What would happen if I tried anyway?
- Am I living authentically in alignment with who I truly am?
Body Awareness & Emotional Check-Ins
- Take a moment to scan your body. How does my body feel right now without judgment? What feels better? What might need extra support?
- Where am I pushing when I need to soften? On the flip side, where might I need more discipline or structure?
- What is currently causing me stress? What is one small way I can ease that pressure?
- What would feeling supported look like right now?
- Am I truly present in my own life and with the people I care about?
Lifestyle, Rest & Daily Habits
- Are my morning and evening routines supporting me mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually? What needs adjusting?
- How am I practicing self-care lately?
- How often am I resting? Does it feel like too much or too little? What does proper recovery look like for me right now?
- Am I getting enough sleep? How would I describe my current sleep habits?
- My daily habits shape my life. How do my routines feel right now – supportive or draining?
- Is there a habit I would like to release? What is my plan for gently shifting it?
Nutrition, Movement & Physical Wellness
- Am I supporting my body through nutrition?
- What foods have recently made me feel bloated, inflamed, or sluggish? On the flipside, what is helping me feel good and supported?
- What is one lifestyle change I could make to feel healthier overall?
- What type of movement or exercise would I like to explore in the future?
- How do I feel before, during, and after workouts? Does this movement truly support my body?
- Is my fitness or strength improving? In what ways?
Connection & Compassion
- How can I make myself feel loved today? How can I show love to others?
Gentle Reminder
Healing, growth, and balance don’t happen all at once. They happen in quiet moments — through awareness, intention, and small consistent choices. Come back to these prompts whenever you need grounding or clarity this month.
These prompts are based on my personal experience and are meant for reflection only. They are not medical advice.
