Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup almond butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • 2-4 tbsp cold water as needed

Method
 

  1. Add the chickpeas, almond, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and cumin to a food processor.
  2. Blend until mostly smooth.
  3. Add cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until your desired consistency is reached.
  4. Blend for another minute until creamy.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with additional olive oil if desired.

Notes

Almond butter can be substituted with tahini or sunflower butter
