Ingredients
  

  • 1 c milk of choice dairy, oat, or almond
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground ginger
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or maple syrup to taste
  • Pinch of black pepper helps activate turmeric
  • Ice

Method
 

Mix the spices
  1. In a glass, add milk, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, sweetener, and black pepper.
Froth or shake
  1. Froth with a handheld frother or shake vigorously in a jar/protein shaker until fully combined and slightly foamy.
Add ice & serve
  1. Fill a glass with ice and pour the golden milk over top. Stir gently and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • For extra creaminess, use oat milk or whole milk.
  • You can also blend with ice for a smoothie-style version.
  • This can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 2 days -shake before serving.
