Oven Method (Recommended)
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, gochujang, sweet Thai chili sauce, five spice powder, lime juice, garlic, and ginger.
- Toss wings in the sauce and arrange the wings in a single layer on the baking sheet or casserole dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the chicken wings are caramelized.
- Spoon over remaining sauce over the chicken wings.
- Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and/or red chili flakes before serving.
Stovetop Method
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of oil.
- Season the wings with salt and pepper and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet and toss the wings until fully coated. Simmer for 2–4 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy and sticky.
- Garnish and serve immediately.
